Parkridge Medical Center is seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join their progressive practice in Chattanooga, TN. This role offers a high degree of autonomy within a 275-bed hospital known for comprehensive diagnostic and medical/surgical services. The position provides an opportunity to work in a facility recognized for compassionate care and advanced technology, serving a diverse patient population. Practice Info • Progressive practice that offers a high degree of autonomy • 275-bed hospital near downtown Chattanooga • Features comprehensive diagnostic and medical/surgical services, including cardiovascular surgery, cancer treatment, intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation • Patients also have access to OB-GYN services, a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults • Case Assignments: Orthopedic, general, GI, cardiac, pulmonary cases, endovascular, electrophysiology, neurosurgery, GYN and a small amount of pediatric anesthesia Responsibilities • Pre-anesthesia assessment • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition • Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation • Salary up to $242,500 a year based on schedule and experience! • Sign-on Incentives (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan Repayment): $50K Benefits • Generous paid time off • Generous benefits package, including: Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance • Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts • 401(k) • Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage • Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule • Call taking, non-call taking, fixed and part time options are available Requirements • Master’s Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program • Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines
