Anesthesiologist (Cardiac-Trained) - Partnership Track, W-2 or Day Coverage

The General Anesthesiologist position in Gastonia, NC offers a full-time, exempt role with options for 2-year partnership, W-2, or daytime schedule, working primarily at local hospitals. Responsibilities include • administering and monitoring anesthesia during various outpatient procedures, • conducting patient evaluations and developing anesthesia plans, • supervising nurse anesthetists, and • performing post-operative care. Opportunities include diverse cases such as cardiac surgeries (CABG, valves, TAVRs), neuro, OB, ortho, ENT, and more. The role involves a 1-in-10 call schedule, shared among 10 physicians, with approximately 2-3 shifts/month. Qualifications include MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, >3 years of experience, and strong regional skills. The position emphasizes excellent communication, safety, and teamwork. The work environment involves frequent patient contact and may be stressful at times.
